Great second hour with your adept questions and Martin giving legitimate commentary which we never hear in the mainstream media….If Great Britain, France, US empire, Germany et al are going to continue their hypocrisy and accusations against the Russian government, as facts , Then maybe , it behooves the Russian government to ban all these “allied” countries’ athletes, spectators,.vip’s and so on . I mean the Western Intelligence services will have a world stage to pull off more gladio operations , similar or worse than a few poisonings, on a large scale . . .

Enjoy one and all ! I lost a first edition of this book while on a holiday in Buffalo New York !! circa 1990. Maybe best to buy book from someone else besides corporate monster Amazon ?! I don’t own this material and have no relationship, vested or otherwise with the authors or publishers . No copyright infringement intended .
imho, The Irish Potato Famine is an example of what happens when ideology , sterile economic schemes “trump” humanity . In the late 20th and 21st century The US empire has taken over the hideous torch of exploitation, war, colonization, and Imperialism . The most distubing thing is that the Powerful Few believe what they do is right, and compartmentalize out, of their ss like minds. the suffering and death they sew . In so many words Dr. Michael Parenti would say that they want more, and more , and more then they could spend in 10,000 lifetimes . The robber barrons andf the capitalists with the assistance of government are dangerous psychotic addicts . The most dangerous, inhumane. destructive addiction is greed , not drugs

In July of 1846 only one forth of the normal crop was saved. In June of the same year, Lord John Russell became Prime Minister of a minority Whig government. The Whigs believed in the policies of laissez faire economics and therefore, were “committed to free trade and were opposed to interfering with normal commerce, either by importing cheap foodstuffs or, as was the done in previous crises, by preventing the export of food” (Kissane 45). Under normal circumstances, such policies would be appropriate, but during the famine they only led to disaster….”
btw , When I read that one of my favorite authors, Anthony Trollope blamed the Landowners both Irish and Protestant , I can no longer read his books . He was in denial that it was the powerful few and the British Imperialist government were responsible for the suffering and starvation with their policies in The Great Irish Potato Famine, circa 1845-1850 just as the US empire is responsible for death, exploitation, war,, famine, etc in the late 20th and early 21st centuryin for example the middle east of the early 21st century…,.well i have really gone over my head so i will stop here .

Yeah ok , but the British Parliament did not have to sit by, and do nothing, while a million Irish were starving to death . The Irish had grown enough of other food stuffs, (besides 2 similar strains of sustenance potatoes which both were made inedible by blight),, but it was exported while the Irish starved …. It is interesting that the Ottoman Turks tried and did get some food aid into starving Ireland in circa 1845 . However the British Navy had stopped and turned back their food relief ships . Of course the last vestiges of the Mohammedan empire did have geopolitical motives too in food aid initiative to Ireland. The Inca Indians grow something like 130 different strains of edible tubers and have never starved

Here, Here Martin and Tony on Free Speech ! As former ACLU(American Civil Liberties Union) president atty Nadine Strossen pointed out hate speech requires more speech against it . The ACLU however has become very watered down now and is usually only involved with identity initiatives . In the past , for example, In the past, some very courageous African- American attorneys would step up to defend hate groups rights to freedome of speech . Many stupid people would say those attorneys were self hating blacks . They were not, on the contrary ! In addition most of these hate group members involved in a case against them would break the ice, and turn a new leaf , and come to the reality that these black people are just like us , because of the great work by a fine attorney on civil liberties , who happens to be black . Perhaps the most important thing is that : when you push hate group persons underground it grows and grows . And the moment the economy, etc goes bananas . the fascists will cause mayhem and destruction and take charge
